This is a response letter for this track by Iain Influx at the time:

What has been achieved in bringing this track together is nothing less than exceptional and pure genius. It has more musical components and complex changes than many other tracks the band (Alternative) have released. An anthem in it’s own right back in the 80’s Internal Autonomy have managed to harness this track in it’s entirety and make it an original in it’s own right with the musical ability in 2011.

To capture this powerful song in your own distinct style makes this track prominent on its own. This is a mix you should all be extremely proud of. It has certainly hit all the right buttons in my ears.

The haunting sound of the church organ as it starts to play has been caught perfectly. I am so glad you have managed to do this as without it would lose its standing. This is then followed by the soft spoken words of Nikki paying perfect compliment to this track. I particularly love the repeating of the last verse of the Lord’s Prayer as the track builds in its layers. Nix vocals are sung and spoken in parts with true resonance and the vocal expression is just fantastic, she is truly a skilled vocalist. Nikki has truly captured the meaning of this song with her vocal range and has been sung with true passion and inspiration. I love how clean Nix voice sounds with perfect spoken words. Nix vocals on this track remind me so much of Crass’s ‘Eve Libertine’ and could so easily be mistaken for Eve herself. Simply brilliant

The music on this track is mind blowing. The drumming by Al has replicated the original off beats by Jaa in the opening crescendo of drum roles and has done the original drumming proud. Yogi’s guitar strums and string slides glide perfectly into those opening immortal lines ‘I came out of the worm womb into a world of fear and hopelessness…’. As the rhythm begins it then has you hooked in those first few chords which just gets the hairs standing up on my arms and makes me want to get hold of that volume button and turn it up louder. The bass line is as good as the original. Nice deep and booming and compliments perfectly.

This is a track which has been built up by layers of powerful music and a great minds eye to detail. Internal Autonomy has truly treated this with great passion and has shown great sympathy to the original track.
